Building relational databases on PXI RT targets

Hi,

Last year I posted a question concerning how to build relational databases on PXI RT targets for which I didn't get a satisfying answer. I would like to know if since that moment someone has developed some modules which could be helpfull for me concerning this topic.

My system is composed of a PXIe-1082 chassis containing a PXIe-8133 controller which can boot on either LabVIEW RT 2012 or Windows XP. From PXIe-6366 and PXI-7852R (coupled with cRIO 9151-NI 9239) this system acquires a great amount of data which if stored in files, lead the embedded hard drive disk to out of space rapidly. That's the reason why I envisaged building a relational data base.

If someone has any idea how to deal with this question, please let me know.

Hello Hervend,

Currently, SQL can only run on VxWorks OS (on CompactRIO). It is not supported on Pharlap (on PXI).

But you can transfer data to the host computer, following this KB: http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/epd/p/id/6287
