Available in LabVIEW 2012. In LabVIEW 2012 and higher, you have the ability to select multiple items on a block diagram (like elements in a cluster) and have a common right-click menu items available (like Visible Items>>Labels)
Here's how we currently make cluster element labels appear, and a proposed idea for improvement.
RavensFan: The policy is to only mark as "Complete" those ideas that we worked on because of the Idea Exchange. There are many ideas that we have had in the pipe for a while that get added to the Exchange. We don't consider those to be "motivating NI". I do wish we had another bucket for those coincidentally completed ideas, but we don't, so this is how the forum moderators have decided to handle it. This means that things that you see marked as "Completed" were done specifically because some user in the Exchange suggested it.
As the saying goes, the optics are bad when an idea is suggested on the IE, voted up, and then appears in a future LV version with no attribution to the idea author. IMO the proper procedure is to mark these ideas which are "coincidentally completed" as In Development when they are suggested (at least soon thereafter).
The answer is in the post where the feature was marked as Already Implemented.
Those posts used to be promoted to the top of the idea, but that feature got eliminated by the new web forum software. I've begged for it to be restored, but the new vendor doesn't have that functionality yet.
...located on page 3 of the Shortcut Menu Plug-Ins page (using 20 topics per page), in other words hardly discoverable. But that's probably part of the "gamification" slant of the "new web forum software".
