Breakpoint Manager like Probe Watch Window

Status: New

The Breakpoint Manager window should be updated to resemble the Probe Watch Window.

They are two very similar features which have completely different UIs.

They could be intergrated so any probe could be enabled/disabled into as a break point.

I think this is a great idea.

I would like to see this as a general debug window.  There are other items that could be added besides Breakpoints and Probes.  Things like ...

Can you comment more about "completely different UIs"? Both of these features had the same design lead, and they were made to feel like a matched pair of tools.

I keep getting a "Warning: Error Code: IO Error" when I click the "upload or insert an image" icon so I can't post the screen shot.

Here is what I see different:

(Probe WW )               (Breakpoint M)

Tree view                    Table View

Help icon                     Help button

Windows X                  Close button

Right-click options       No right-click options

Resizable columns       Not resizable columns

Icons along the top     Icons along the side

I see 2 icons that are the same but each with different tip strip information to mean the same thing.
I honestly assumed two completely separate departments within NI built each tool.

More on future suggestion...  In the Probe WW, an option to add/remove "Conditional" would be nice.  And if one of the pause conditions were "On Execution", that would about replace break points.

Thanks. Feedback will be passed along.

And following the comparison between BP and Probe Managers, both ignore the labels of wires from which they could conveniently inherit their names...
