Make it possible to select multiple event sources when adding an event

Status: New

I'm a bit surprised that I could not find this suggestion already...but hopefully then it's not just an oversight by me...:

In the Edit Events dialog you can only add events from one source at a time, it should be possible to select multiple sources and add the same single (OR multiple there as well) events from those sources in one go. The event source selection should filter the events-list so that only the events that are common for the selected sources are shown.

In pictures...you should be able to do what I have imagined(!) doing in the bottom picture here:

Just throwing in some possible modifications to the idea of speeding up event assignment:

What if the event type is "sticky" and is pre-selected to whatever we used last instead of hard-selected to "value changed". Sometime people e.g. prefer "mouse down" or "key down" events for a series of event definitions.

I would also to prefer to include the following right-click shortcut, slightly modified from what I mentioned already here long ago.

"For larger projects, I am also having problems finding the correct control in the list on the left. How about if a control terminal is inside an event case, we could just "right-click the terminal...add event" and have the event configuration window open with an new value changed event added and the control already selected."

Since the "other" idea is in development, I am not sure if this tweak made it. 😉
