LINX does not have a community site here at ni.com. Also, LIFA, as far as I know, wasn't ever officially supported by National Instruments. It was supported by a couple of NI employees. The original developer of LIFA is the same developer of LINX. LINX is much better overall. It's slowly getting those last few bits of functionality that it was missing when compared to LIFA.
