DNP3

Solved!

We are making a new test system using TestStand.  We have custom steps that need to talk to our unit via DNP3 but using a slightly modified application layer.  Has anyone done this before?  Can the DNP3 driver be used on a host PC to interrogate a slave unit?

It might be more effective to post this question on the TestStand forum.

Hi,

You can move this discussion in Teststand fourms.

We have developed DNP3 CSTs using TMW. Yes you can use DNP3 drivers on Host PC as a server and Your device will be slave unit.

Hello,

Can anyone who has worked on NI Industrial comm for DNP3 can let me know whether the NI drivers for NI Industrial comm can be customized?
