Digital waveform generation through external triggering by pulses on PCI 6251

Sir i want to by NI 6251 for i read it has ability to generate and acquire  digital waveform on port 0 . I want to know that can i generate waveform by external clock triggering ( by providing pulses at one line on the DAQ)?

Hi Ali211,

Yes you can use an external sample clock source for the digital input/output clock. You can connect the external clock source to any one of the PFI lines (PFI0-PFI15) and specify the sample clock source as this external PFI line.
