Fatal Internal Error: "Window.cpp"

Solved!

line 3139, LabVIEW version 7.1, Vision 8.6 run time engine, Windows XP.

One of our clients has been running this executable software on an instrument for over a year, now this message suddenly appears, he says when he's in the process of defining ROI's.  Any suggestions?

Thx

Hey,

The link above is broken.

This error is usually resolved with an update to LV 8. It seems like when you try to create new ROI at a faster rate, you can run into this error. It seems like the later versions of LV are able to accomodate a larger queue of events. Do you know what exactly the customer is doing, and whether what I discussed is applicable?

Our client says he has this problem when manipulating large numbers of ROI's, so I think you're right, he may be over-running a queue or exhausting a resource.  I've asked him to be mindful of this, and he seems to agree.

Your feedback was helpful, thank you.
