Oops, looks like someone is still using LV 2011!  Smiley Wink

 

Seriously I thought I would be able to change the label too, but now it is grayed out in the Properties dialog (in LV2013).  So I tried earlier versions and it looks like that "feature" was added in LV2012.

That's good to know.  I had tested it in LV2012 and it worked.  I didn't think it was something that might have not worked in the past and was only recently added.  The only thing I noticed was that double-clicking the label wouldn't allow you to edit it.  You had to explicitly go to the properties dialog.

Finally... if your VI is a VI express then you can achieve this... what a mess !
