I have a oscilloscope that supports GPIB interface.Is it possible to connect this to labview and obtain a live signal?

i am working on a project where it is necessary to capture a live signal from a accoustic sensor using a oscilloscope...the oscilloscope is a AGILENT 54621A ( 60 MHz, 200 MS a/s) which has a gpib support...can someone please tell me the way i can connect the oscilloscope to labview and capture the live signal so as to process the sound waves obtained... please tell me the step by step procedure

When you installed the drivers for the scope, it usually has example code with it, such as "Getting Started".  Have a look for it and try it out. It's a good starting point.

There is actually an instrument driver available on ni.com/idnet for your instrument.  If you don't have a lot of experience with using instrument drivers, the Instrument Drivers help page will get you started.
