I just installed the evaluation version of LabView 8.5 and the latest version of NI-DAQmx. When I open the Express Input Pallet, the DAQ Assistant icon is not there. I am running WXP SP2.

Hey Richard,
    If you navigate to the Measurement I/O palette, is there an NI-DAQmx palette which contains the DAQ Assistant?  In what order did you install everything?

The link I was sent was to NI-DAQmx 8.5.  I found a posting on the discussion group that indicated that I needed Version 8.6 to use with LabVIEW 8.5.  After downloading and installing this version DAQ Assistant works fine.
