I don't have LV 2010 loaded (yet) but from the code shown above, I suspect an "always copy" node is worth trying to work-around the crash.

 

Use the CAR #

 

When we have a CAR# we can call support and get them to read off the notes. If there is a work-around it should be reported with the CAR#.

If you take a look at the VI which Jim included, there's a few different workarounds in disabled cases, including the always copy function and using a for loop to sum the elements in the array.

Update: I just tested this in LabVIEW 2010 SP1 and it seems to be fixed 🙂  The CAR Number (252210) is also in the list of LabVIEW 2010 Service Pack 1 Bug Fixes.  Thanks NI!
