Labview 5.0 and NiDAQ 6.7 driver issues.

Hi there,

I am using Labview 5.0 and NiDAQ 6.7 on four older test computers (Win2000), each with two DAQ cards, PCI-MIO-16E-1 and AT-DIO-32F installed. Three of the systems work fine, but one is not. I am able to swap out one of the hard drives, in an attempt to rebuild the fourth hard drive in one of the good computers. I started with a clean hard drive, and upon installing NiDAQ, I get DAQ card drivers issues, which can lead to “blue screen of death”, or the system reboots !?!

cheers

John

Hi Richard S,

I am waiting to gain access to the computer again, but from what I remember blue screen said the file "nipalk.sys" was not loading.

Can you tell me if NIDAQ 6.7 has the correct Win2000 drivers for these two DAQ cards, PCI-MIO-16E-1 and AT-DIO-32F, as have been struggling to install the drivers! Have just downloaded the NiDAQ 6.7 to eliminate any possible CD error.

regards,

John Richey
