I am looking for a good laptop for instrumental analysis (money is not an issue). The laptop would need to be fast as it will be connected to a data acquisition system (lots of channels) and LabVIEW.
Would someone be able to recommend a good one?
Thanks.

Hi cmfl
Typically you'll be OK with anything i7 16GB RAM (even i5), you can pick up a decent laptop from dell for just under 1000USD. If processing power is a concern, maybe RT CDAQ systems or CRIO is more suitable.
I always go for dell laptops or towers with i7 16GB ram, or if the need is there Amplicon industrial PCs.
Regards
Jono

There is no special requirements for LabVIEW beyond the minimum system.

As for brand and model, with computers in general you get what you pay for so just pick one from a trusted brand.
