Migrate LabVIEW installations to another drive.

Hello, I have an SSD that is starting to fail on me...

The device, \Device\Harddisk0\DR0, has a bad block.

...You get the point.

I have ordered a replacement drive already, but I was wondering if there is a way to migrate my installations of LabVIEW and other NI software to my other healthy drive while I wait for the replacement?

If there isn't, do you guys have any suggestions of how I could make the transition as smooth as possible?

I'm not very keen on spending another day (or two) setting everything up again.

By spending time setting everything up again, do you mean getting your environment configured the way you like it? If so, just copy your LabVIEW.ini file somewhere safe, then reinstall LabVIEW, and then put your INI file in the LabVIEW directory.

I would advise against trying to manually mess with an installation. Later, if you ever want to run an uninstall on it, it might not work properly.

For me, it is a little more than just the `LabVIEW.ini` file. There is also:

• Property Page Mods
• Tools Menu Mod
• Modify the label of the error clusters to remove the "(no error)"

I am sure there is more, but I keep forgetting to document them 🤔
