I would be thankful if you could help me sort the the issue of averaging a data set with a given sampling rate. I am using a force module to measure the load applied on a specimen and a strain module (NI 9237) to measure the strains developed as a result of loading. I am using a sampling arte of 2000 beacause of which for a particular load data (read 2000 times), I am getting 2000 strain data. Finally, I average those values while post processing. I am doing this in DAQ assistant of a LAbview 2009 version. Is there a way to average these data while conducting the experiment itself so that at the end my output file is also small and I get to see the averaged data on the indicators placed in the front panel also. I am new to Labview so any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated.
