PCB 00P05 , labview signal express 2009 , NI 9162 - readings doesn’t make sense

Hello , 

I am a new to user and trying to get acceleration measurements from a beam impacting a composite. I attached the pcb 002P05 to the beam , and I connected the accelerometer to the NI USB-9162 DAQ then through a usb to the pc. I ran the labview express 2009 program and only impacted the beam with a screw driver (not running the actual test) and I’m getting acceleration/vibration readings of up to +400 g and -400 g.

these values don’t look right to me and I’m not sure what u should do to adjust it ? Please help.
