Change the behaviour of Front Panel Controls/Indicators when their Block Diagram nodes are disabled

Hi Guys,

         Currently I am doing an industrial project to differentiate Ductile Iron from Grey Iron by means of LabVIEW. The parameter which i am considering is sound. Basically Ductile iron produces bell sound where as Grey iron produces dull sound.My question is, Is it possible to differentiate these 2 irons with these parameter? or i need to consider any other thing?If it is so what are they? If the parameter which i am considering is correct what and all i need to do to make it possible? Please suggest me guys.....

You have done the home work here or should have.

I would suggest that you look for multiple way to detect the difference (i.e. electrical characteristics, current, resistance, mass). There are many things that you could do but learning the best way is what make you and expert.
