Read DBC-File into Labview

I want to inport a DBC-File into Labview and extract out of this File the Names, Format, Factor, Startbit, Length of Signal etc.

Did someone has perhaps already a VI to convert this data into a String-array or a cluster?

Hello Michael,

If you have the NI-CAN driver installed, you can use the VI located at vi.lib\nican\nicantsk.llb\CAN Get Names.vi.  Wire in the path to your DBC file, and specify the type of information you want returned (you can select Channels or Messages).  If you select Messages, you can specify the particular message name you wish to retrieve.  Other than this VI, I don't know of any other way to get DBC information in LabVIEW.  If you need more details, you may want to post to the NI-CAN discussion forum.
