Real Time Scan Mode with cRIO 9024 in Windows OS

Solved!
Go to solution

Dear All,

I want to know Windows OS is compatible with CRIO to be used in Real scan mode?

I am writing code with reference to this page:  http://www.ni.com/tutorial/11198/en/ for

Data Acquisition. In step 23 under Using the CompactRIO Real-Time Scan Mode, it says

Create constants for the file path and operation inputs. Which path will be used in case of windows as it is not RTOS.

Thank you

Regards

The step 23 in above link gives an idea on how to create the files in different RTOS (NI-Linux, Pharlap or Vx-Works) running on cRIO.  Your cRIO will have it's own drive storage and that's mentioned here as C: or /home/.  I guess you're confusing here between Windows OS and RTOS.

You are saying here RTOS means the OS in cRIO?

or

Can you a little elaborate?

Yes, RTOS is the OS running in cRIO target.
