Rename name of tags in OPC server.

Hi, everybody. I try to find answer to my questions, but don`t find.

I work with NI OPC. just now I create tags in interface of OPC, also rename tags in interface.

But now, I want to create tags, or rename existing tags programmly, i.e. in LabVIEW code. Is it possible? I use LabVIEW 2010.

Do you have NI LabVIEW Datalogging and Supervisory Control (DSC) Module? If so you can use the following.

Hi rusl,

This is actually not possible. The NI OPC Server is acting like a client so the tags cannot be pragmatically changed from LabVIEW. Sorry for the incorrect information initially.
