With anything "modern", I have not had this issue.

"modern" is relative 😋  ... > 10 years? But there are still such older devices floating around...

Generally speaking, we could call "modern" anything with a LAN and/or USB port.

If you want to talk about older devices, we have a network analyzer that is approaching 35 years old.  Yes, it is actively used by several programs.
