TDMS for noobs?

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello,

I am currently working with already developed LabView application (we are locked out of the code). The program records from a camera and is in-sync with accelerometer data per frame (2000 frames per second). The program creates a TDMS file.

I am solely interested in one of the axis on the accelerometer data. Is there a way to go into the TDMS file and just pull out what I what and export it to excel?

I'm sure the whole process is a lot more complicated, but can anyone help?

Cheers

With this add-on, you can load the TDMS file directly in Excel. No programming required.

Kamilan,

There is a TDM Excel add on available here http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/epd/p/id/2944. You can export TDMS data to excel. Other option would be to write a simple VI to read the TDMS file and save the desired channel data in spreadsheet file.
