boolean--void data typle error in migrating lidar guide robot from sb-rio to myrio

hi all

new to labview, doing my NI arc 2014 project, trying to migrate "lidar guide robot" example to myrio.

this is the best example i could find.

after compilation the fpga main file sucessfuly, 

an error says can't pass boolean to void.

please help how to fix it

Hello,

I have seen this occur when the user has deleted the front panel item on the FPGA VI that corresponds with the Read/Write node on the Host VI. Do you know if this has been done?

does it mean something missing in FPGA target file or host file?

not sure if you know any lidar example on myrio?

my lidar can be regonised as usb raw, but  in this vi only the ASRL INSTR resouce is accepted.

As far as what may be missing, it seems to be a simple stop button control on your FPGA Target VI.

As far as Lidar examples go, have you seen this resource?
