Hi Renn
I can't post a link to the status of this but we are aware of the issue. One work around I found is to set the cursor highlighting to transparent, this won't allow the arrow buttons to work correctly but will stop confusion if you think it's selected when it's not. Sorry we couldn't be of more help at this moment in time.
Thanks
Dan

Hi Renn
It's a shame that this is still an issue. I changed departments at NI a while ago so sorry for only picking this up. I think this is quite a unique issue. R&D tends to fix the most important bugs first and then filter down to the less common ones. As I think only a couple of people have ever mentioned this issue I'm not sure it will get looked at. I do appologise for this.
Thanks
Dan

Hi Renn,
Sorry to hear this is still plaguing you 😕 I don't work for NI anymore (haven't done for a while), so there's not much I can do to help you sadly, I assume it's still not a top priority for R&D, but who knows, maybe it'll be fixed for 2018?!
Thanks,
Dan

Any updates on this topic? Is this bug fixed in any LabVIEW versions after 2017?

I think you'll have to work around it by setting the Active Cursor property yourself.
