well, to write numeric values to the Excel sheets is the solution.

Writing text instead of numeric values is just wrong…

I found out where the problem was. The value I needed with 3 decimal places was located before writing in the database. There was a separate VI which collects all data from the sensor and convert the number with the function "number to fractional string"  - in this VI the needed value was located - and makes then a concatenate string of ALL collected paramaters of the sensor. If I would have changed that it would have taken weeks for me because I must have changed loads of VIs and logic. Never ever 😉 I changed the precision of the number to fractional string, adapted the database and test it. And it is working - yeeaaahhh
