how to merge two vis into a one vi?

Hi everyone
How can I merge two vis into a one vi. I developed two vis independently both of which include sub vis in them. When I try to just cut copy the stuff in the block digram. I don't see any changes in the front panel.
Do I need to construct a new vi from scratch which has all the components of both the vis.
Is there any way by which two vis can be combined into one i.e two front panels merged into one??
attached are my both vis
Regards
Rohit

Hi roiht,

a copy-paste action should work. Have you looked at the front panel with the zoom-tool (CTRL-SHIFT-N)? Most likely the front panel objects of the second VI will be off-screen.

One way to merge is make a merge VI out of one of the two VI via the palette menu.

You could also create a merge VI form one of the VIs and inster it itno the other.
TO make it as a merge VI, go to tools >>advance>>edit palet Set
Add your VI to the palet and right click on it select merge VI.
Now when you use it it will merge the vi inside the other.
I hope this helps
