Sorry, I was getting constantly, while I was downloading the example from the labView help, an error that says something like the file ....Vishay TSOP853 Series can not be found. I try to look for it but neither I cold find it.

The Vishay TSOP853 is an IR distance sensor, which I believe is on DaNI 2.0, while DaNI 1.0 has a PING))) sensor.  You may have downloaded the 2.0 example.

It looks like the code should cause the robot to keep driving forever.  So in that sense, it looks fine.  If you want it to only drive for a set distance, you'll need to add some code to read the encoders to check the distance traveled.
