Error loading examples

Hi All,

Im new to cvi.I am using CVI 7.1 evaluation version.Everytime I try to run an example from NI Example Finder i always get an error ,for example I want to run example update.prj, I get error message

 "error writing file c:\.....\cvibuildupdate\update.nidobj"[file access permission denied]" anyone have any idea how to solve this problem? Thanks a lot for yr time

This sounds like an IT permissions issue - I'm guessing that on your computer you are not allowed to write to any c:\program files... areas? (Which is where the CVI samples normally get installed.) Just copy the examples into a drive area where you do have write permission and I'm sure all will be well.
