Table cell with Numeric Slide type

I know that in a table every cell can have a different type choosen from:

  • numeric
  • string
  • picture
  • ring
  • combo box
  • button

I wonder if there is some hack to set the cell type to Numeric Horizontal Level Slide.

It would be really useful for me.

No, there isn't any practical way that I can think of.

On the other hand, if your slide doesn't have to be interactive, and if you could replace your table with a multi-column tree (which can look fairly similar to a table, other than for numeric cells) then you could use a horizontal bar cell, which trees do allow, and which is a reasonable approximation of a horizontal slide (You set its value by setting a percentage, from 0 to 100). I'm attaching a screenshot of a table with various cell types in the third column. The blue bar is the horizontal bar cell.

Unfortunately I need interactive bars, with color ramps and so on...

I think I'm going to write a new product suggestion

I would like to place a progress bar inside a cell, so non-interactive.  In this case, looks like the closest I can come is to make the cell a Picture type and replace the picture with static images.
