Hello All,
Can you give me some guidance on How to install NI USB 621X driver on unbuntu 12.04 64bit?
Previously, I successfully installed the driver on ubuntu 12.04 32bit . but I have to change my pc to unbuntu 64bit for further research.
I tried to install the driver with previous method. but I failed.
When I input lsdaq, it shows:
lsdaq: command not found
I find the lsdaq file and run in the terminnal, following error occurs:
--------------------------------
Detecting National Instruments DAQ Devices
Found the following DAQ Devices:
/etc/natinst/nidaqmxbase/bin/daqmxbase_listdevices: error while loading shared libraries: libdaqmxbase_listdevices_so.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
--------------------------------
I need your help badly
Thank you.
Kind regards,
John

Hello, your error is in the description. NiDAQmx package, which supports you devices, supports linux 32-bit. You should install and try it under Ubuntu 32-bit.

Hi, First time I installed DAQmx into Mageia 2 64-bit. I think, I got the same error as you. After it didn't workaround on it. I installed Mageia 2 32-bit, which worked with DAQmx without problem.
