NIDAQmx 8 and PCI-DIO-32HS on 4 cores computer

Hello everybody,

We have developed a software generating a digital signal on a PCI-DIO-32HS with the DAQmx function DAQmxCreateDOChan and DAQmxWriteDigitalU16. The software is running on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 and until now we didn’t have any problem.

Recently we installed the software for new customer on HP Z200 computer with a 4 core Intel Xeon processor, and then we encountered an error -200621 (Onboard device memory underflow).

Is there anything to do to avoid this error?

Notice that we have already activated the regeneration of the data.

Thanks.

Did you end up figuring this out?  We have the same problem after upgrading to a faster windows computer.  Things seem to get better when I run the clock slower, but we require 1MHz.

Hi,

We did not fix this issue at the present time. However there is a workaround, we have disabled the multi-core processing in the BIOS.

Also, we do not have the problem on Windows ; only on Linux.
