Installing step VISA, usual conflict at /usr/local/natinst

Under (unsupported) Fedora20 64bits, several occurrences of

file /usr/local/natinst conflicts between attempted installs of nispyi-2.8.1-f0.i386 and nipalki-2.9.1-f0.x86_64

with various pairs of files. Saving bandwidth.

Thanks in advance for help.

AFICT, this only happens for directories and seems to be a result of a new rpm version. Maybe NI needs to remove explicite mention of the directories from the spec file. As a workaround, you could change the script to specify --replacefiles.

That is correct, newer versions of rpm are stricter with permission checking. This is a known issue with a kb.
