Hello Lanidas300,

Visa 5.3 solved my problem! I'm only having trouble communicating with serial ports but I don't believe that they are working well. I will try in another computer.

Thanks for everyone help

Hello Brice,

I've Centos 6.5 and Visa 5.3.

But I can't realy tell the installation procedure because I made so many tests .

But I got to do some fresh installations in other machines and after that I will post the procedure.

And your lastest installed was on VirtualBox machine?

Do you tested on real machine?

Hello Brice,

The success installation was in a real machine.

Then we tried two situations:

1. My virtual machine;

2. Another real machine: but is giving an error installing visa (in kernel source)

Hello Brice,

My head is a mess. I was able to put a computer reading USB,Serial.

But I still can't perform clean installation following the same procedure. There's always a new error coming.

Give me a day or two.

I need to:

1. Install opensuse;

2. Install Labview, vi package manager on my computer.

But I'm having some problems. Let me try to fix and then I give you news.

Thanks

Hello Jorge,

If you plan on installing openSUSE we recommend using version 12.1. This version supports VISA 5.3 drivers.

Good luck with your installations!
