Yes, I did consider that example.

However, if you have any say in the matter, please request the Vision team to build a native function that converts VisionImage to bitmap and bitmap to VisionImage. There are many imaging libraries that create bitmaps. Having the ability to interface with these libraries would greatly extend the capabilities of IMAQ Vision.
