Vision Assistant Caliper Results Accuracy

Hello,

I would like to increase the accuracy of the results that are yielded by

the caliper function using Vision Assistant 8.6. I think this might just

be a formatting issue, but right now the most number of decimal points

that I can see for values calcuated using the Caliper tool is two. Could

someone please tell me how to increase the number of decimal points?

Have you calibrated the caliper function (in what unit does it report the results)?

Yes, I calibrated the caliper function so the measurements it produces are in inches.

Hi Austin,

that output is fixed in it precision. You can work around this in one of two ways

• Migrate the code to labview and then you will have access to the full data.
• Leave the calibration in pixels (assuming that you have more than 1 pixel per inch)
