The next User Group Meeting looks like it will be on Tuesday, 7/1 at 5 PM at StoneFire Pizza (5320 S. Moorland Rd. New Berlin, WI) again. Look for a registration link to be posted shortly (disregard the 6/24 date listed on the main page). Keeping with the revised shorter presentation/discussion format, I'm looking for a few quick topics for people to present on and other discussion topics you'd like to tackle as a group. There are two things I'd like to cover for sure:
If you have something you'd like to present on or a topic that's interesting to you, please reply to this thread. Since we're two weeks out, I'd like to nail down the agenda in the next few days.
Also, it looks like we are having a certification day in Chicago on 7/15. If you are interested in taking a proctored exam (CLD, CLA, CLED, or CCVID) and have the necessary prerequisites (CLAD), keep your eyes open for a link to be posted here. If you're interested but need more time to study, we will be hosting a certification day in WI a few months from now and we'll set a date at the UGM.

My vote is for LVOOP. I am currently reading The Object Oriented Thought Process, I've reviewed a lot of LVOOP documentation online, and have been studying LVOOP examples in an attempt to get to that next level. Any and all reviews of LVOOP would be great as far as I'm concerned. I'm close to having a good understanding and starting to see things in an OO basis. A close-up, live presentation could be the push that gets me over the hump.

I think LVOOP programming is always a good topic as well. I have an example I could show of a some classes I made for interfacing with database stored procedures. It is the first time I did an LV programming with classes so I could discuss the process I went through and some of the problems I had with developing it. Let me know if you'd like me to present.
