Hello

I had my labview 2010 comunicating with some valves. My problem was that my computer had to be replaced and the so I could save my work and downgrade it with Labview 2012 to labview 8.5 (because my university now only has this version license).
So I have this program that was working before (its not mine im just using it) and now its not.
I downloaded what I think to be all the software needed with compatible versions -> labview 8.5 , DAQmx 9.3 , NI VISA 5.0.3, NI 488.2

now I just have an yellow exclamation mark in the MEASUREMENT and AUTOMATION , DEVICE AND INTERFACES

im using a card NI 9472 and USB NI 9162

I know im being really vague here but please tell me any data you need

when I select the yellow exclamation mark it gives me a message :  "you are currently using a USB DAQ device on Windows XP please visit NI.com and enter USBHOTFIX"

Can you make a screenshot of the message encountered when you open MAX?

By the way, are you working on Windows XP?

I found the solution with the help of a friend. It seems like that when I converted the program from Labview 2012 to Labview 8.5 I lost the DAQmx connections between the valves and the Labview program

I just had to creat new virtual channels again 🙂
