Hi everyone,
A couple of month ago I purchase a DAQ that came with LabVIEW Student Software 2012. A few days ago, I was about to install it on a PC, but I realize that the serial tag was torn (perhaps when unpacking the things I purchase that time). I have not opened the package that contains the DVD (or CD) of LabVIEW just in case I am not supposed to do so, because I am not sure if the same serial will be inside it.
The serial number stars with "S/N" and then I can see almost 8 characters (the 8th is almost visible), but I think the serial should have 9 characters.
Can anyone tell me what should I do?
Thanks to anyone that can give a comment on this.
Yours faithfully,
Diego.

Hey there;
No worries, most of the LabVIEW Student Edition discs have the serial number printed on them
Where can i find the serial number needed to activate my NI Student Edition Softare?
Hope this helps!!!
Greetings

Hey Marisol! Thanks for the feedback!
After a while I decided to just open the package and to my surprise (and relief) there was a "Certificate of Ownership" that contains the same serial number printed on it.
I could install and register LV 2012 with no problem!
I appreciate your comment.
Have a nice day!
