Can i use Analog input channel to measure the variable resistance . if not what is the other way ?
please explain ,
Thank-you

The analog input of a regular DAQ Card measure voltages!
However, grace to the nature there is something called Ohms law. (U=RxI)
So by applying a voltage to your linear potentiometer ends , a curent will flow and 'distribute' the voltage (hopefully) equal over the lengh of the resistive path. With the help of the tap you now can measure a voltage (here we are) at a specific point.
