Hi,

Ok, here's the setup.  Some TTL signal defines the start and end of analog data acquisition.  I'm using PFI7 and a start and reference trigger for this.  The time can be variable (1 to 300 seconds) and we can't set it, the only thing we know is that it won't be higher than 300 seconds.  A sufficient buffer is already reserved for the task with the maximum number of samples possible.  This works flawlessly.  Now, I'd like to add the possibility to record some pre-trigger samples for the task.  How would you go with that since I'm already using a reference trigger for the stopping of the acquisition and I don't have the prealable length of this acquisition?  TIA.

You can acquire data using pre-trigger samples using the reference triggering, but you cannot use with one device both trigger configurations at the same time. You can stop a task and reconfigure it, but no both running with different conf.
