Hello Guys:

Recently I have used I2C mode in USB 8451 to communicate with an ASIC, but sometimes 8451 will be hang. It shows the green light is on constantly while it is blinking when it works correctly and the program will have no response. If I unplug and plug the USB cable, it will be reconnected and program will move on, but it will lose the online data when it hang. I am wondering what cause it. please help, really thanks

Hi there,

       I have been checking around to see whether we can reset the device in SW and there is no way to programmatically reset the 8451, if its gone from MAX there is nothing we can do with it. That said it is odd that your 8451 fails at all, would it be possible for you to do an NI-spy capture of what's going on?
