Hi,
I am currently working on an project that involves the Ni-9147 . Because of project specific reasons the question arises whether it is possible to send real-time data (e.g. from temperature sensors etc.) via the Ni-9147 to the RaspberryPi.
Because I am not sure if I am posting this article in the right category, I will also post it in the category "Hobbyist Toolkit", because of the thematic proximity to Raspberry Pis.
I would be happy about any constructiv hints and information.
Thank you.
BoltzMann.

NI-9147 supports Scan Engine and FPGA mode. Scan Engine communicates using shared variables. Shared variables are not well supported outside LabVIEW. For the first step, I would check if Raspberry Pi supports shared variables.
To use FPGA mode, NI-RIO driver must be installed on RaspberryPi to use FPGA I/O function.
On top of that, you would still need LabVIEW ADE to define the behavior of NI-9147. See Setup Guide for Ethernet RIO Expansion Chassis
