Self-Cal NI 9205

Hello,

for a Datalogger, i have to integrate a Filter to eliminate Noise. This does n´t work properly.

i decide to make self the calibration of my Ni 9205 but it seems so hasardeous. could someone explain me how i can calibrate the NI9205 better, you can find attached my implimentation on the FPGA. It will be efficient to do the calibration in the RT, but my CPU is by 90% in this case, it is the reason i make this in FPGA.

thank you

Jimi

Hi Jimi

As long as you use the example code for self-calibrating the 9205 you shouldn't run into troubles. You can also reinitialize the module back to it's factory settings if you do not like the calibrated values for whatever reason. It will likely be the most effecient way to calibrate your 9205.

If you have room on your FPGA to do the necessary scaling and you are happy with the results, that should be sufficient.

Kind Regards,
