LabVIEW Tip: Quick Bold Text

Want to get bold text without navigating the menus? Then add “QuickBold=True” (without the quotes) to your LabVIEW INI file.

Detailed explanation: Ever wanted to quickly make some text in a comment or on your front panel bold? Have you hit CTRL-B like in Word or Outlook, and absolutely nothing has happened? Then this tip is for you! It works by turning on an unofficial feature that we’re hoping gets promoted to full release LabVIEW, however for now just add the token to your LabVIEW.ini (found in the same folder as the LabVIEW.exe) and CTRL-B to your heart’s content. You can vote for this to become a proper feature in the  Idea Exchange.

Note you will lose current CTRL-B functionality (remove all broken wires) until this idea is properly implemented.
