Roborio 2.0 not working consistently.

Up front - I also submitted a service request for this - request # 02820943

At an FRC event on March 2 our Robrio 2.0 stopped working (could not connect/load SW) and had a flashing yellow status light.

We replaced the SD card with a known good formatted card - still the flashing status light.

We then thoroughly cleaned the Roborio and reinstalled on our testbed.

It no longer had the constant flashing status light but now intermittently loses comm (both radio and tethered USB) and intermittent robot code load issue.

Its not reliable enough for FRC competition - can we get repair or replacement?

Update - that service request I mentioned above resulted in a $350 quote response - that doesn't seem right for NI support under FRC?

In the past, we have not had to pay anything like that.

@BoKnows this is not duplicate, same team has a second device. Can you take this one?

Whoops.  The posts in both seemed identical and same poster.  I'll reach out.

No problem -  my fault for confusing things by posting at the same time for two different devices from the same team

Hi JimB1731,

I'm Matthew with NI.

Have you made any progress on this?

Can you test running the roboRIO with nothing but power connected to it and an empty template project (no team code) to see if it reproduces?
