What is the best resolution for a photo background for the front panel?

Hi Christine,

I am using LV V15.0 (Home & Student Version) on a Mac running OS 10.11.5.

Is there a way to attach the VI, and jpeg here so you can see them?

Thanks,

George

Hi Spacehunter,

I tried resizing my photo in PS with the method you described, and it looks like it worked. In my version of LV, the dimensions of the decoration only showed up at the top of the window as I was resizing it.

Thanks very much for your time & help!

Hi Christina,

It looks like I figured out how to import the photo (png) at the resolution I need. Can you tell me how I can "fix" the window size of my front panel, so it can't be stretched once all of my programming is complete?

Thanks again!

Go to VI Properties (Command+I). Go to the category "Window Appearance." Click the Customize button. Uncheck "Allow user to resize window."
