Great Community. Our program develops majority of our code in LabVIEW Linux. For the last few years, we have been developing wrappers and running our VIs with in a FOR Loop to pass in values to our controls and compare the indicators to expected. This has been a very tedious process since during that time, we have asked NI whether they supported Unit Test Framework for Linux. Does anyone know whether the 2014 Version of LabVIEW for Linux PRO may include Unit Test Framework or does JKI VI Tester support LabVIEW Linux?

VI Tester should work fine on Linux. It also works fine on LabVIEW RT. Give it a try and let us know if you have any issues.

Meanwhile, NI's UTF is not officially support on Linux and we don't currently have any plans to port it. That being said, it's 100% G, so it should be technical feasible. I've asked R&D to at least evaluate the level-of-effort required, which is in the backlog to be looked at later this year. If you're using Linux, your best bet is VI Tester 🙂

Thanks Elijah for confirming. We'll have to take on alternative ways in the mean time.
