Do not use the serial number that comes in the software kit for activation. You MUST use the following Serial Number to activate LabVIEW:

L13R00000


There are two updates that are necessary

1. FIRST Robotics Software 2010 - Windows - LabVIEW & NI Utilities
2. FIRST Robotics Software 2010 - Windows - Driver Station

Just an FYI, the zip file password is "Breakaway4FRC!"

That serial number does not work when I try to activate labiew. The serial number on the software kit does not work either. If anyone has any idea how to help please post here

Hello FIRST Community,

I have been notified that the activation issue should be taken care of now.  Thank you very much for your patience during this issue.  If you have any issues activating your software with the serial number from your Kit please make sure to let us know.  In that case you can still use the L13R00000 serial number to activate.

After installing the mandatory update I used the serial number from the Kit. From what I can tell the software was activated. Do I need to change the serial number?

Nope! You only have to activate once and it doesn't really matter which serial number you used - the one in the kit or the one we had posted.
