cRIO stopped powering up

Our robot was working OK.  We had the cRIO reimaged and the code loaded and the robot worked when connected with the tether.  We came back today and were going to work on the wireless aspect but now the cRIO won't even power up.  We checked the power cables and they have 24 volts going to it.  Before, we'd plug in the cable and the cRIO would light up the connection but now nothing.  It's just dead.

Hi Deborah!

Uh oh! My suggestion would be to call in to our support line today as you might need to send the cRIO back for repair (don't worry if that's the case we'll overnight you one so you don't lose any time). The support line is open from 1-7 Central at 1-866-511-6285. They'll help you troubleshoot and then send it in if it turns out it does need to be repaired.

Thanks!

~Stephanie

Have you checked for power at the cRIO end, not just the source end?

Also, have you checked to make

sure the 24V wires are screwed into the cRIO terminal block, and that the terminal block is screwed

into the cRIO?

Yes we've checked power at both ends and they both read 24.6 V.  We checked the wire plug on the cRIO and still didn't get any power.

In that case I'd go with Stephanie's plan and see about returning it.
